For traveling from Bangladesh to Europe, we shall ensure that the passenger(s) comply with the following:

Travel eligibility

 Please check if you are allowed entry to France before you travel. If you are travelling to France, you may be required to take a COVID‑19 PCR test before departure and fill out required forms before arrival.

• From 4 December 2021, the following requirements apply based on country categories:

• EU and French nationals will not be required to present compelling reasons for travel to France but must comply with the requirements for the country category they are travelling from, as well as their vaccination status. Details on requirements can be found in the COVID‑19 testing requirements section.

All country categories

• The compelling reasons and quarantine requirements that apply to adults according to their vaccination status also apply to accompanying passengers below 18 years old, regardless of the minor’s vaccination status.
• The requirements per country category apply to your point of origin. This also applies to transit passengers with up to 24 hours’ connection time. If your transit exceeds 24 hours, the transfer country’s category (Green/Orange/Red) will apply.
• Transiting passengers will be required to provide two boarding passes (from the origin as well as transfer airport) at the immigration in France.
• Passengers who require a compelling reason must present supporting documents for compelling professional, personal and emergency reasons to travel to be accepted on flights. Passengers must also present a print out of the completed necessary forms for compelling reasons to authorities.

Compelling reasons of a personal or family nature:

Requirements for travel from a specific origin

Effective 4 December 2021, passengers from the UAE who are above 12 years old can travel to France under these conditions:

They must present one of the following documents:

Proof of vaccination, or Certificate of recovery dated more than eleven days and less than six months from the date of travel, or Negative COVID‑19 PCR test result for a test taken less than 72 hours before departure or antigen test result for a test taken less than 48 hours before departure Passengers from the UAE do not need a compelling reason to travel to France.

Green countries:

No negative pre‑departure test is required for travelers deemed fully vaccinated according to European regulations. These travelers must present proof of vaccination at check‑in and to the border control authorities. Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative COVID‑19 PCR test taken within 72 hours or an antigen test taken within 48 hours before departure (departure of the first flight in the event of a connection), or a certificate of recovery (proof of a positive result of a PCR or antigen test carried out more than eleven days and less than six months previously. This certificate is only valid for a period of six months from the date of the examination or test). No measures (tests, isolation) are in force upon arrival in metropolitan France. Children under 12 years old are exempt from these formalities.

Orange countries:

• Vaccinated passengers are under no restrictions when entering metropolitan France.
• Unvaccinated persons travelling from an “orange” list country must have a compelling reason to justify the need for their trip.

If already vaccinated, the following rules apply:

Provide proof of vaccination status. Since 1 February 2022, for a vaccination to remain recognized as complete, passengers aged 18 or over wishing to enter the national territory must have received a dose of a complementary messenger RNA vaccine within 9 months following the injection of the last required dose. A sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of COVID‑19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of COVID‑19 to enter the metropolitan territory. No test is required to travel to mainland France from a country classified on the “orange” list for vaccinated travelers.

If you are not vaccinated:

You must present at check‑in and to the border control authorities a negative COVID‑19 PCR test result taken within 72 hours or an antigen test taken within 48 hours before departure (departure from the first flight in the event of a connection) You must have a sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of COVID‑19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of COVID‑19 to enter the metropolitan territory and your commitment to accept a possible screening on arrival. You may be screened on arrival. If the result is positive, you will have to self‑isolate. Children under 12 are exempt from these formalities.

Minors

The measures applied to fully vaccinated adults extend under the same conditions to minors accompanying them, whether or not they are vaccinated.

Minor passengers who are not fully vaccinated accompanying an adult who is fully vaccinated do not need a compelling reason nor undergo a quarantine on arrival in France but must take a COVID‑19 PCR test less than 72 hours before or antigen test less than 48 hours before departure to France.

Vaccinated passengers are persons who have proof that they have completed the vaccination course of a vaccine recognized by the European Medicines Agency, that is to say any person having received the injection of two doses of Pfizer vaccine, Moderna or AstraZeneca (or one dose for passengers who have already contracted the COVID‑19) and a period of 7 days since the last dose was administered has passed. For the Janssen single dose vaccine, the vaccination is complete after injection and a period of 28 days.
